artsy fartsy stuff

At last, some new art work! Now, dear readers, I'd love your opinion. They all started life as antique/vintage black and white photos then the long task to turn them into new works of art began. I wanted each to be uplifting / inspiring to the viewer. The slide show doesn't do the rich colors justice but it was the only 'freebie' show that I could find! Do you think these art prints would sell on Etsy? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Hoping that by my next post I'll have a print giveaway organised.

And to the really important stuff. Milla, my granddaughter, inbetween two friends, shows on her face what Christmas meant to me. Sheer joy. Family and friends...and immense gratitude for the life that I have.

The slide show seems to be playing up for some so here's a collage of the prints.

What a gorgeous smile Milla has!

I tried viewing your slideshow but when I hit play a message popped up saying "Oops! We couldn't find that video. It may have beeb deleted by its owner" :( I'll pop back later to try again!

Happy New Year Chrisy! xo

Gorgeous art work, but not as gorgeous as Milla. What a joy she is. I would certainly put your beautiful cards up for sale on Etsy, where I am sure they would find a ready market.

And happy New Year!

The prints are lovely. Beautiful. I wish I could bottle up Milla's joyful smile to open on days when I need more joy. Perhaps I can just reference this picture. Thanks for sharing.

of course i had to try the slide show and it worked, just so you know.

i see a deck of cards in this unique images of women. very very classy, chrisy. i hope etsy sells a zillion.

i didn;t know you had a grand daughter either and what a doll she is. that smile is quite wonderful!

btw, i wrote the poem with all the suggested words. it's on my blog a couple of posts back.

oh my goodness! she is delicious! what a joy she must be to you and her parents. :)

the artwork is fabulous. honestly, it's funny that they started out as vintage photos, because to me they almost have a really cool sci-fi vibe to them, especially "we are all connected" and "you embrace the changes each moment brings". To me that's a good thing.

I love them, and do think they'd sell. What format were you thinking? Personally I'd love to see them as greeting cards/postcards, and/or something like a collection of affirmation cards. I think they're just lovely!
