French Knitting Installation from New Zealand artist Mia Hamilton
Above and below by Australian artist Emma Churchill of Emroce
Here’s a great idea from Inspiration Realisation – make your own extra chunky yarn using your French knitting! Think I'd need one of spools where you can just turn the handle...could be awhile otherwise.
I’ve been looking for extra chunky yarn and can tell you it’s difficult to source over here, and it’s expensive….so…now...a Giganto Rug! Look at those needles!
Everybody needs a little ditty to knit by and this is a classic.

Hi Chrisiy. Thanks for your comment on my blog. I've missed you. Nice post today. I used to knit as a child, or at least started to learn. But I've nothin like that since. It's amazing how creative people can be.
Hope you are well.
hello there chrisy! so does this mean you are a bona fide knitter, among your other talents?
the first pix looked too much like a snake to me, i must admit :^)
i hope your weather has improved. not so here, but hope forever floats :^)

This is absolutely gorgeous and so impressive. Not every day that you see a beautiful creation like this. I love knitting and I always want to do more of it but never know what to make.
So very creative :)
Talk about a flashback to my youth. I made miles of this stuff as a kid but never knew what to do with it!
Hope all is well in your world.

I love the “snake” in the tree, but it must have been a drag getting it out without destroying it. I’m recommending to each of you that you guys check out one another’s blogs: http://thesmallgodsshallbemyjudge.blogspot.com
