Feeling beauty and wondering...

To feel beauty is a better thing than to understand how we come to feel it.
[George Santayana]

Sorry it's taken me so long to post again. Unavoidable as there was a bug in the system - the computers not mine! Tho when I watch Seminova dance I wonder if it's possible for somebody twice her age to become this lithe again, and more importantly, as healthy as they were at her age. Is it possible...

This video tells everything about your title.
I wonder, watching the video, is there any girl in the world who doesn't want to become a ballerina.
Your photos are also very expressive, thanks for sharing.

Hi Chrisy,

Yes, we do tend to be creatures of habit, don't we? I have wanted to change my blog for a while but I'm not the type that can PLAN these things. LOL

They just evolve over time..I designed my new header to be a frame of sorts I guess...the fabric flowers can be removed and I can slide in whatever I want to while the rest of the header stays the same.

I'm still pondering about the background..if you look behind the fabric flowers at that piece of fabric..it's from my stash and is from the 1940's. I'm thinking of using it behind my header and down the outer edges and leave the rest white.

Hope you are having a wonderful week...

Hugs,
Stephanie ♥

Hi Chrisy! Hope all is well with you sweetie! You always share the most magical photos! I'm loving the one with tied roller skates. It's been years since I put some on. I so enjoyed your video. I think a girl at any age can be like that again. Now I must find where I put those skates. lol. Have a wonderful weekend! :)

"Is it possible..."

No, darling, you might as well buy yourself one of them walker thingies. You do have them in Australia, no? You know, they're what old people use to get around when they're too far gone for a cane but not far enough gone for a wheelchair. Then again, I guess you could buy yourself some ballet slippers and have a go at it.

I love those Cig Harvey photos! At least a bug in the computer system is better than one in your system :)

OMG, that dancer is amazing! What a great talent.

Last night I saw a preview screening ot the film Mao's Last Dancer about a male Chinese ballet dancer who defected. Man, could that guy dance!

Both make it look so effortless.

Me... I kind of waddle these days but a girl can dream.

Thanks for the inspiration.

Hi Chrisy,

I love the quote. I have a terrible time streaming videos on my wireless connection so I just don't try anymore. Sorry you had a glitch in your computer system...that's always a drag.

I hope your week is off to a great beginning and that you are feeling well.

Have a great day,
Stephanie ♥
