The idea of living in a little houseboat has always appealed to me. One day I'm going to make the move!

A great post and some very nice finds you've shared!

We used to vacation on a houseboat...the best there was! You could float to any place you wanted through this huge lake region. Talk about change of scenery every night. Love it & Sophia Loren!

Such a lovely post and I used to watch Houseboat over and over and over as a child. My mother loves the movie and even she got sick of seeing it haha!

If you could guarantee that Cary Grant would be on my houseboat, then up anchors!

there are some lovely houseboats docked on Granville Island in Vancouver - Lindsey's university campus is just steps away - your post totally took me there...

May I please drift away, too? I so deeply need a brief escape from the weight of my daily thoughts and woes for a little while.

Wonderful, serene and reflective post, sweet soul, I enjoyed it very much.

Big hugs,
♥ Jessica

Hey Chrisy I've actually seen the houseboat in the first photo - it's in Amsterdam? We did a hop on hop off canal boat trip last year when we were there and we sailed past this one (and many others) Lovely post.
