I adore Jorge Luis Borges. What a great picture of the library. I read his life and he was so so interesting.
Having an old library catalogue in my house would be the greatest thing ever.
Beautiful post..
now if everyone would just read more, the
world would be a better place.
What a sweet post. I'm loving your blog.
I love that first image - I've always wanted a library like that in my home... but oh my! That video is just priceless!
You continue reading Chrisy. You've given us enough here to enjoy regardless! Oh my, that top photo is something special indeed! Enjoy your book :)
Incredible as always :)
My idea of heaven would be a room devoted to books - a library I guess with a sliding ladder that I could climb up to reach the books up the top! The top photo is divine!!
Read on Mc Duff!!
That quote feels as though it could have been lifted from my very own thoughts. Eloquently put and beautifully illustrated, my dear.
Wishing you a splendid Sunday!

Yep, want to convert my daughter's room into a wood paneled library when my daughter leaves for college but she says no :(

Your blog is stupendous! It takes its viewers to such wonderful places. Your library is ... I am lost for words!
The sweet little French girl blew me away with her imagination and amazing grasp of language. Oh if all French people spoke so clearly and so meaningfully. I could almost ignore the subtitles and call on my schoolgirl French to understand every word she was saying.
Obviously, she has already experienced the world of books and great stories.
I want to be in that library too.
Ooh thank you! I want to be at the library with my little bunny bag :)
I don't know why listening to Capucha weave her magical tale made me teary - her mom must be an amzing woman as well...
Thank you for all the wonderful links…
Sad but true those wonderful library catalogues are
within driving distant from me…however the dollars are allocated to other
places this year.
