Centre stage is the flattering High Waist Fishtail Skirt custom made for you from Maisy Brown Repro Retro. On the left is Vanessa Hudgens and on the right Melissa George via Daily Mail.

She had as leave give her kiss to an absurdity any day as to syllogistic truth.

Fish Tail Braids are apparently big on the catwalks this year. Some instructions here at Cosmo. Lots of other how-tos on youtube.

The absurdity may turn out truer. (DH Lawrence)

Oh my goodness Chrisy! Pneumonia!! Please rest up and I will send every ounce of my healing thoughts your way this weekend.

But also - thank you so much for including my prints in your lovely, lovely post!! Totally honoured! I remember braiding my hair like that for school - it took forever! ...and as for those dresses - they remind me so much of the '80s for some reason!

Hello you magic making lady. You should know, you have foiled my plan . . . my plan to get through all of my favorite blogs by noon today. I was keeping a good stride until I got here. I think I've been in here looking about for over an hour so far. Too much to comment on - so many lovely and fascinating videos that needed to be watched (loved the knock on the door and I pack for trips like the lady on the train). So many exquisite pictures and meaningful things to read (your memory post shot right to my inside secret soul). Oh you are the mistress guide of all that is spectacular and intriguing and wondrous in the world. Thank you for another amazing trip into your world today!

Oh what a terrible guest I am. I came to thank you for your encouraging words (that made me cry harder but out of gratitude) and I realize I missed the end of this post of yours. I am so sorry to hear you are sick. I spent 5 days in the hospital a couple of years ago with pneumonia so my heart and wishes and prayers go out to you (and now I am crying harder because I'm even more touched that you took the time to cheer me on!). Take care of you and make sure you follow doctor's orders. I made my case worse by taking cough suppressants instead of expectorants and my lungs filled up. I'll be checking on you. I wish I lived closer. I would bring you chicken soup, raspberry jello, lemons, tea, and 7-up. And some cheery flowers and juicy magazines to read. Get well and thank you dear lady!
