Footnote: In one of the comments on the last ‘train travel’ post Kat (please go visit Kat and have a look at her beautiful artwork) suggested I have a look at Madame Tutli-Putli, a stop motion Canadian Film that took out Best Short Film Cannes 2007. Thank you Kat....what a clever intriguing film….

Wow! Those marionettes are amazing - if not a little spooky! And...what a story! I'll have to come back this evening when I'm at home and check out all that video footage Chrisy - something to look forward to!!
Yet another educational experience. Thank you for telling up about the Grimstones. I'll have to have a closer look at that one.
Another walk down a whimsical & magical road with you! Those marionettes are so real, beautiful and a bit weird all in one... I like weird though~ Amazing post again!

Thanks for the mention!!!! And the Treasury! I need to read up on how exactly those work. ^_^ I'm a complete Etsy newbie.
Oh how cool! They remind me of Tim Burton's gothic creations. ;)
Hi, thank you for your nice comment on Gerdiary - and for introducing me to your interesting + stimulating blog...
these are rather dark uh... but i am sorta fascinated.
The dolls look great, but theyre kinda scary!
Off to watch the clips!:)
I love those marionettes at the top! Creepy and fascinating. Your blog gives me inspiration for my own creepy work every week... ;)
I don't mind a bit of 'spooky'! Actually I prefer spooky to cute. Cute is spooky sometimes. Like those dolls you put in the corner that look like kids. Spooky.
Really lovely blog! I will be back for sure!
